If life were a play, which character would you be?

Are you the type to give up easily when faced with difficulties? Or the resilient adventurer who keeps trying and grows stronger with every challenge?

In this era of information overload and intense pressure, as members of Gen Z, have you ever felt anxious, lost, or even self-doubting in the face of adversity? "The Overcomer—Joint University Mini Live Action Role Playing," organised by the Alliance of University & College YMCA, Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong will be launched on 2nd November, 2025 !

This activity will focus on a Live Action Role Playing (LARP), combined with an exhibition, offering you an immersive experience to help you understand your own resilience. Whether you're a seasoned player or a first-timer, this experience will help you realise that "failure is not the end, but an opportunity for growth."

 

【Activity Highlights】

  • Live Action Role Playing (LARP): Gradually unlock six story-rich characters through cooperation and self-awareness, awaken your inner strength, and find the key to resilience in escaping adversity.

  • Themed Exhibition: Presenting diverse formats to showcase information related to resilience, along with an on-site test to help you understand your stress response when facing challenges! Accompanied by introductions and sharing from special guests, this will guide you to break through adversity and provide ways to build up your resilience.

Date: 2nd November, 2025 (Sunday)

Venue: Hong Kong Baptist University

Time: From 12:30 to 15:30 or from 15:00 to 18:00 (*Two sessions available. First-come, first-served.)

Language: Cantonese

Target: Members of University & College YMCAs aged 17-29 

*Membership applications are open all year round. CLICK HERE for the membership application.

Programme Fee: 

  • Group discount (In a team of 6): HKD$80/person

  • In a team of 2: HKD$100/person ; Individual: $120/person

*A deposit of HKD $100/person will be collected which is refundable upon completion of the programme with satisfactory performance.
