Newbies Exclusive Series
To celebrate the start of the semester, we are now offering a large variety of programmes to every new/renewed member! If you are a new/renewed member of University & College YMCAs (Must be Full-time Undergraduate Students of HKBU, CUHK, HKUST, LU, HSUHK, PolyU, HKU or Full-time Students of YMCA-COC) registered on/after 1 Aug 2025, you will be given priority to join “Newbies Series” programmes** below. Application starts from 9 am, 7 Aug 2025! Quota is limited, first- come-first-served.
We are also offering a $20 discounts on the 5-year membership fee until 30 Nov 2025! If you have not registered as our members, join us right now to enjoy our exclusive events and membership benefits!

Life Education x Children Service
Through participating in life education activities, you will reflect on your own life and join a guided tour to learn about the history and development of Hung Hom’s funeral industry. On the service day, you will assist with activities and guide children in games to help them learn gratitude and appreciation.

Sign Language x Deaf Service
Through a sign language workshop, you will learn basic sign language and then visit islands with deaf individuals to engage in games, fostering connections and making new friends.

Body Mind & Spirit
Joint-U Y Camp for Newbies
Several villages on "SunnY Land" are facing a crisis as their “Y Tower” begin to collapse. Participants will transform into explorers, aiming to complete various tasks and adventurous challenges within 2 days 1 night to help the villagers regain their lost light of belief and restore the“Peace”.

One with the Waves — Kayak x SUP
By participating in a one-day canoeing and stand-up paddleboarding experience at YMCA Wong Yi Chau Youth Camp, participants can try out two water sports in a single day, challenge themselves, and have the opportunity to meet new friends from different schools while enjoying a healthy and fulfilling outdoor experience.

Kite-making x Children Service
Through a hand-drawn kite-making workshop, participants can explore the origins of kites and the traditional local craft industries. Simultaneously, during Children's Service Day, children from low-income families are guided in creating their own hand-drawn kites, thereby passing on the rich local culture through simple and joyful activities.

【Registration process】
1. Complete the online registration form.
2. After our department verifies priority participation, participants will receive a confirmation email regarding the payment
method within 4 working days.
3. Participants who have successfully registered must follow the instructions and pay the fee via FPS within 2 days of
receiving the "Payment Notification Email" from the Association to officially confirm their participation.
4. Priority will be given to new members for participation in the event. Existing members will be placed on a waiting list. If
vacancies become available, we will notify you as soon as possible (no later than one week before the event) . Please pay
close attention to your email notifications.

Only payment via FPS is accepted. For details, please refer to the payment notification email sent by this department.
