"20+" Online Fundraising & Quiz

Please read the following Terms & Conditions before the donation:

 

University & College YMCA 20th Anniversary Online Fundraising Campaign (referred to as “Campaign”) is a fundraising scheme under Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (referred to as “Association”). All donors should read, accept and agree to the terms and conditions listed below. If you do not agree with the following terms and conditions, please do not participate in this Campaign. 

 

1. This Campaign accepts one-time donations via using “local credit cards (including Visa, Mastercard and UnionPay)” and “Faster Payment System (commonly known as “FPS”)”. Donations by cheque are also accepted. Please contact our staff (Email: uniycy20@ymca.org.hk / Tel: 2705-2231) for details about donation by cheque. 

2. Once the donation is proceeded and accepted, no cancellation and/or refund would be performed. If the donors cancel the transaction with the credit card operator unilaterally, all extra costs incurred shall be solely borne by the donors. 

3. Anyone aged 18 or above can participate in this Campaign. 

4. Hong Kong residents donating HK$100 or above are entitled to obtain the donation receipt from the Association and apply for tax deduction. 

【Credit Card Donations】 

5. “Acqra Limited” is authorised by the Association to provide online fundraising service. About “Acqra Limited”: CLICK HERE

6. After clicking the “Credit Card Donations” button below, donors’ browser will be redirected to the online fundraising platform powered by “Acqra Limited”. Acqra has the role of a data processor, but not a data user and has no intention to use the personal data collected from this online fundraising platform for any purpose. 

7. After completing the donations, donors will receive an auto-reply email generated by the online fundraising platform for confirmation, while this email is not the official donation receipt. Please tick the appropriate box to request for the donation receipt when you submit the donation via the online fundraising platform. 

8. For any enquiries regarding the online fundraising platform, please email uniycy20@ymca.org.hk or call us at 2705-2231 during office hours (Mon-Fri: 0900-1300 and 1400-1800). 

【FPS Donations】 

9. After clicking the “FPS Donations” button below, donors’ browser will be redirected to our online registration form.  

10. Donors will receive our notification email with designated FPS QR code within 3 working days upon completing the aforementioned online registration form. 

 

【Collection of Donation Receipt & Souvenir(s)】 

11. Donors will receive a notification email within 30 working days regarding the collection of donation receipt and souvenir(s) after successful payment. Souvenirs will be ready for collection after the notification email being sent, while the original paper-form donation receipt will be issued in periods according to the donation date (CLICK HERE for more details). Donors may visit our office during office hours to collect the souvenirs and the donation receipt after showing the email copy and the proof of identity. 

12. If donors are unable to collect the souvenirs in person, they may apply for mailing service by filling in the online form mentioned in the notification email by the deadline. However, donors shall bear the shipping fee and all related expenses (if any), and they cannot designate a certain courier supplier. Our Association will not be responsible for any damage/loss of goods during delivery. Donors may also apply for e-donation receipt emailing service or authorising someone to collect the receipt and/or the souvenirs on their behalf by filling in the online form. 

【Personal Data Collection Statement】 

13. The Chinese YMCA of Hong Kong (referred to as “the Association”) commits to abide by the principles of the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance so as to ensure the personal data collected and kept is accurate and secured. The Association may use your personal data (including, but not limited to, your name, title, company name, address, telephone number and email address) for the purpose of communication, fundraising, marketing activities, research studies, other communications and promotion. If you do not wish to receive any communication from the Association, please email your full name (in both Chinese and English), together with their membership number and telephone number to our University & College YMCA Department at uniycy@ymca.org.hk. Should you have any enquiries, please call us at 2705-2231.

15. If there is any inconsistency between the Chinese and English versions of these Terms, the Chinese version shall prevail.
