Joint-U Mental Health Services Day 

15/4/2023 

Uni-Y members participated in volunteer social services or workshops organised by 9 University & College YMCAs units, respectively, and then joined the “Embracing Emotions” Carnival and sharing which was held by a professional social worker in HKBU.

Service Programme

By organising intercollegiate detective games, DIY workshops, and service days, we aim to increase college students' attention to stray cats and dogs and promote the concept of adoption instead of abandonment.

Recruited 120 university students to create a playground with 80 children and elderly together for promoting the importance of play and social inclusion.

Joint-U Charity Night Race 2017

Nearly 200 university students navigated around the city to overcome fun challenges to raise fund for subsiding low-income kids to join the "Ultimate Challenge" in Penang, Malaysia.

The Programme has been awarded the Champion (Tertiary Group) of the "2017-18 Best Student and Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition" organised by the Social Welfare Department.

Joint-U Green Day

Organised multiple joint-u services and a Green Carnival with upcycling workshops to promote eco-friendly lifestyles.

The Programme has been awarded the 2nd Runner-up (Tertiary Group) of the "2015-16 Best Student and Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition" organised by the Social Welfare Department.

“Dream Hunter”
Riddle Charity Challenge

2/11/2013

Nearly 500 college students solved riddles to collect materials and information and fulfil the dreams of about 1,200 beneficiaries through services.

The Programme has been awarded the 1st Runner-up (Tertiary Group) of the "2013-14 Best Student and Youth Volunteer Service Project Competition" organised by the Social Welfare Department.
